The Pool & Gardens

Our sympathetically restored stone farmhouse is set within 1.5 hectares of peaceful, mature gardens and well-tended olive groves. Guests are free to wander amongst the olive trees, enjoy the fragrant, honey-scented linden trees, help themselves to juicy figs (in late summer), and enjoy the panoramic vistas around them.

Guests are welcome to unwind by our beautiful outdoor swimming pool (open May to August), set among ancient olive trees and offering sweeping views across the Val di Comino valley and the Apennine mountains. The peaceful backdrop makes it the perfect place to swim, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the landscapes whilst contemplating a glass of local wine.

The pool is located about 50 metres from the farmhouse, down a gentle slope. There is a pool house with a toilet and changing facilities, plus a shaded dining terrace which seats ten.

We have more sun-loungers than beds, so guests will never have to reserve one!

For those who enjoy unearthing local delicacies in the nearby markets and then cooking their purchases, we have a wellequipped communal BBQ area (away from the pool) which seats eight people.

Whether you’re slow grilling fresh peperoni rossi, barbecuing delicious arosticini, or devouring outstanding locally-made gelato, you can cook, feast and entertain to your heart’s content in our gardens.
